Zeb Lin Brister, M.D.
Dr. Brister is the founder and Medical Director of Eye Care for Tulsa. A graduate of Tulsa University, Dr. Brister went on to the University of Oklahoma Medical School. He completed his Post-Doctoral training as Resident in Ophthalmology at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City. Dr. Brister is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Brister has been in private Ophthalmology practice in Tulsa, Oklahoma since 1977. His specialties include cataract surgeries of all types, as well as refractive surgery.
In addition, he is a member of the Oklahoma Ophthalmological Society and was the past president of the Tulsa Ophthalmological Society. He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor for the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa and instructs residents with In His Image Family Practice Residency.

Dr. Brister has been involved in Medical Missions since 1977 and spends several weeks each year in Mexico and other third-world countries working with the poor, restoring vision through cataract surgery, as well as sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. While on mission, he has been involved in teaching new surgical techniques to resident surgeons. Teaching as far away as China, he has also worked and taught in numerous countries including Mexico, China, Ecuador, Honduras, Ghana, Nigeria and Africa.

James Stover, O.D.
Dr. James Stover is the veteran optometrist at Eye Care for Tulsa. As a 1983 graduate of Northeastern Oklahoma State University School of Optometry, he began his practice at Eye Care for Tulsa In 1985.
Dr. Stover is known for his sincere approach with his patients and technical excellence. He has four children: Rhett, Mary, Casey, and Lauren. His hobbies include water and snow skiing, golf and basketball.
Stephanie Souvannachak-Cowick, O.D.
Dr. Cowick is the newest doctor to join Eye Care for Tulsa. She received her Doctorate in Optometry from Western University College of Health Sciences in California. As a third year student, she received the Award for Excellence in Ophthalmic Optics.
Dr. Cowick's interests include traveling, photography, painting and exploring different cultural cuisines. She and her husband enjoy the outdoors and being close to family.
Brett Wagner, O.D.
Dr. Brett Wagner joined ECFT in 2018 after serving as clinical director of Oklahoma Eye Institute in Lawton, Oklahoma for five years. Originally from Tulsa, Dr. Wagner graduated from Union high school and then completed a bachelors degree in Biology at the University of Arkansas. He received his doctorate at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Wagner finished his ocular disease residency at Northeastern State University College of Optometry, in association with BVA Advanced Eye Care in Elk City, Oklahoma.
Dr. Wagner has been actively involved in serving the local and international community, having served on several optometric mission trips to Central America, South America, and Africa. He also served as president of the board of trustees for Family Promise of Lawton.
Dr. Wagner is a member of the American Optometric Association, Beta Sigma Kappa optometric honors society, and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians. He, his wife Michelle, and their two sons reside in Tulsa where they enjoy spending time with friends and family.
