 Medical Missions has always been a vital part of the fabric of Eye Care for Tulsa. With the beginning of First Fruits Ministry in 1998, our participation increased significantly as well as the development of a Sending and Mobilizing wing as well.
Dr. Brister and his wife, Clair, frequently with Eye Care for Tulsa staff, work in numerous places in Mexico throughout the year. Over the years they have done surgery in Honduras, Ecuador, China, and Africa as well. But the hundreds who have their vision restored each year by these cataract campaigns are just the tip of the iceberg in relationship to what First Fruits Ministry represents.
Over the past few years First Fruits has sponsored well over 100 groups and individuals who are participating in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. As a patient at Eye Care for Tulsa, a portion of everything you spend with us goes directly to First Fruits Ministry, a mission of love and compassion for the world that is waiting to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.
